Brisbane to Sunshine Coast Network

Our Brisbane to Sunshine Coast network is specifically designed to support Australia’s growing demand for Subsea Cable Landings. This state-of-the-art infrastructure provides a new, high-capacity pathway linking Brisbane directly to the Sunshine Coast Cable Landing Station.

As a cornerstone of connectivity in South East Queensland, this bespoke network enables a diverse, secondary landing option for submarine cables, ensuring seamless onward transmission and enhanced network reliability.

RTI JGA-S

The Japan-Guam-Australia South (JGA South) Cable is the first cable that landed on the eastern seaboard of Australia outside Sydney. Supplying more than 36Tbps JGA-S spans 7,000km connecting Sydney, Australia and Guam, with a branch to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Entering service in Febuary 2020 the JGA-S cable provides onwards connectivity from Titan Telecoms' Brisbane to Sunshine Coast Network to Sydney or Guam.

As part of Google's South Pacific Connect initiative, Tabua will play an integral part of improving connectivity between Australia, South Pacific and United States. Delivering a plethora of new connectivity to Australia East Coast, far from existing cable landings in Sydney providing significant diversity to existing systems.

Announced in October 2023, the Tabua cable will provide multiple onward connectivity options from Titan Telecoms' Brisbane to Sunshine Coast Network.
